Evolve Psychiatry

My daughter has been a patient at Evolve for about a year now. We are very happy with the treatment she has been receiving. Her psychiatrist is very responsive and flexible with her scheduling. And her talk therapist is OUTSTANDING. We love him very very much and would follow him anywhere. My son is also a patient at Evolve for his ADHD medication management and he is also satisfied with his doctor and the treatment he has been receiving. Thank you!

If I could rate this place negative stars I would, soley based on the receptionists and phone service. On top of being rude and cold over the phone the first few times times I called to make an appointment (one of the most vulnerable moments a person can be in), they showed zero sympathy for people who supposedly work in a psychiatrist office. After my second appointment, I overhear these receptionists talking about several different patients and their issues in the waiting room, for other people to hear including myself. And to top it off, I called multiple times on Friday because I started to experience extreme adverse symptoms from the medication I’ve began taking. After leaving a voicemail in the morning, I had to call again in the afternoon, only to be connected with an operator who then “relayed” this message to the office. The office receptionist then calls me back hours later, to tell me that a doctor will contact me ASAP, and nothing. I waited the whole day, experiencing crazy symptoms I was scared to be having, all to be pushed aside and forgotten. I’ve never left a negative review in my life. Im an extremely nice person who will always give the benefit of the doubt, but I simply cannot look past this. Im at the most vulnerable part in my life and to be pushed aside the way that i was is just really truly upsetting.

IF ZERO STARS WAS POSSIBLE, ID GIVE IT. i was forced to take a urine test every time i came here as a MINOR for NO REASON. one time i went to the bathroom before coming and the ladies at the front desk started yelling at me to pee or i wouldn’t be able to see my psychiatrist and get a refill of my meds. I started crying, chugging the free water in the office. finally i was able to let out a clear drop into the cup, and when i gave it to the woman she claimed it didn’t come out of my body and was water. these people are frauds and only care about money. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR ANY OF THEIR PATIENTS, THEY LITERALLY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS TO LEAVE 5 STAR REVIEWS FOR A STARBUCKS GIFT CARD, these people deserve to have their licenses taken away it’s absolutely baffling that they play around with people’s well-being like this.

I was trying to be a patient here and I was already treated like garbage. I’m in the dental field so I know how important it is to jive with an office and for patients to have an understanding of the office and their provider. It was impossible to get someone, anyone, on the phone. I wanted the doctor I was referred and what her specific schedule was. The woman who answered (after I pressed existing patient since the new patient person never picks up) sounded miserable and told me she couldn’t answer my questions unless I filled out the forms online and then someone would call me to see IF we can schedule. “Like an application?” Silence. I said “why would I fill out all these forms if our schedules don’t even coincide?” She annoyingly sighed and said “All I can do is transfer you.” Did she know anything about the office or wasn’t allowed? I asked if someone else at the front was available because the doctor came highly recommended. Again, big, heavy sigh and said she’ll transfer me. I left a message and no one ever called me back. Called my doctor back and asked for a different office. I can only hope the doctors treat their patients better. The front staff already scared me off.

This office is incompetent. I’ve had many issues in the past but regarding the most recent one; I had an appointment over two weeks solely to get my prescription refilled and now without medication and suffering major side effects due to withdrawal of the medication. Simple task to submit medication and obtain referral yet no one can do that. Now I have to take off of work due to my withdrawal symptoms and physically show up at the office and not leave until this is fixed. Unbelievable! This is giving me ten times as much anxiety than the anxiety I already had as for one of the reasons I’m going here.
